Shopfitting in a retail space for Godfrey Hoyne Property Investments

The site is a former bookmakers in a retail unit on the high street in Romiley. Working to plans supplied by Northern Backdrop Interior Design, we were tasked with the full disconnection and removal of the existing services and complete interior fit out into a contemporary customer reception and office.

Interior fit out and management of contractors

Works included managing multiple contractors on site and delivery of all technical elements. These included plastering, panelling, signage, flooring, ceiling, lighting, data and electrical points. On completion we organised the sign-off of the job by the local approved fire inspector.

Fitted with concealed services for smooth lines

A major challenge was to ensure all cables, wiring and sockets were concealed to achieve the smooth lines that the client and the interior designer wanted. Sustainable materials were chosen and all were either recycled or recyclable.

The office fit was received well by our client and the public

The finished job offers a spacious, contemporary and sleek style with a functional island and breakout areas. The client and the interior designer are both really pleased with the job, as are the customers who visit.
